Large Camera Array

Panavision’s proprietary, modular camera-array baseplates provide unmatched precision and flexibility for capturing background plates for use in LED volumes or traditional VFX workflows. A single plate allows for a greater-than-180° field of view with three or four cameras arranged in either a toe-in or toe-out configuration. Two plates can be connected for a 360° array with six to nine cameras in a variety of configurations, including the option of having one upward-facing center camera. The Large Camera Array is compatible with camera systems up to the size of DXL2 and the Sony Venice with AXS-R7 4K raw recorder. Additionally, Panavision offers a purpose-built solution for mounting the Large Camera Array in a 360° configuration on a Libra remote head. The camera array system is complemented by Panavision’s precision-matched and calibrated Array Lenses.
